3 Months!

Hayden is 3 months old and growing like a weed! He is getting so big and interactive it's amazing. He's smiling and laughing and he'll repeat sounds that you make to him. He is getting such a sweet little personality.

He had his first lake trip last weekend and I guess he enjoyed it = ) Saturday was cold and raining so he did not get to get on the boat but we did go down to the water for a little bit . . . no pictures, I just was not thinking about it = (

Sunday was beautiful but, Hayden and I went back up to Nana and Pepa's to go to a wedding shower so we did not get to enjoy the lake but Hayden did get to take his first ride on a tractor! Of course, I had left my camera at the lake but, Nana got a picture so we'll get that posted once we get it. I was a true Red Neck baby riding the tractor in nothing but my diaper = ) Pepa knew I was enjoying the ride once I fell asleep = )

I did speak too soon about the schedule . . . he just does what he wants when he wants. But he is sleeping better/some during the day. We're starting to learn each other a little better and I can tell when he's getting tired and needs to take a nap. He won't just fall asleep on his own he has to be forced but, once he has that little nap he feels so much better. But if he misses that nap, he gets over-tired and just cannot cope with life = ) So, we're working towards a schedule = )

The Doctor wanted him to start doing one cereal feeding a day from a spoon at 3 months but, he just does not get the concept of the spoon so, we've added it to his bottle for now. I can't say it helps him sleep any longer but, I feel like he's getting a nice full belly.

For the last few days he's been trying to cluster feed at the end of the day and then go a little longer at night between feedings so, maybe we're getting close to a full night's sleep. I'm not really forcing it because I don't mind getting up with him right now. But, once I have to go back to work I'm going to need that precious sleep so, we'll have to have it figured out by then.

Yesterday we went to Nana CeCe and Pawpaw's for the day. We ate chili and played with Hayden. Today, Bear came up to visit and brought lunch for Mother's Day. Hayden and Giff gave me a Willow Tree Collectible for Mother's Day = )
