Anyway, Hayden took his first trip to Florida this past weekend to meet his great-grandparents and some aunts and uncles. He did great in the car both going and coming; thank goodness! He'll be making this trip a good bit so he'd better get use to it.
We drove down Friday and Nana and Pepa could not wait to get their hands on the boy.
Aunt Sandra and Uncle Curtis came by to see him but, he was a little irritable after the trip so we gave him his bath and he was good to go.

Saturday we went to Grandma Sizemore's house and visited with Grandma, Aunt Martha & Uncle Jim, Aunt Betty Ann & Uncle Larry and Giff's Cousin Wayne and his wife Sherri. We don't have any pictures of this because we forgot the camera at Nana and Pepa's house. We know, we're terrible parents! But they loved him and he behaved quite well (for a while).
Then we went back to Nana and Pepa's and visited with Grandmother Kirkland & Papa John and Aunt Dianne.
Saturday evening Nana and Pepa made dinner and Mark, Hannah and Shelby and Aunt Steph came over.

Shelby loved Hayden! She rocked him in his bouncy seat and "sang" to him. Apparently it's one of those songs only babies understand but he was very happy listening to her sing and "read" to him. She plays with her baby dolls at home and was putting the burp cloth on her shoulder and tending to "Baby Hayden" as she calls him. It was precious!

Then later that night, Uncle Billy and Aunt Victoria came over (they are getting married April 18, 2009) and brought Tate, Heather and Katie Lynn Brunner.

Sunday we chilled out and watched some TV and Aunt Dianne came back over for a little more Hayden love = ) She brought Uncle Freddie and cousin's Brooke and Kelli Mac (with their friend Erica).

We had a great weekend and are going back soon for Hayden's first lake trip!
