I want the Lord to bless Dr. Hilton! Tuesday morning he confirmed our suspicion of Acid Reflux. Apparently Hayden has a pretty severe case. So, we got some Baby Zantac and this snazzy stuff called Thick-it to make his already thick acid reflux formula even thicker. You see, not only are we screaming constantly but, we cannot keep anything down so, we then continue to eat even more. Before Tuesday, Hayden was eating 5-6 ounces every 2 hours. He should be doing 4-5 ounces every 4 hours.
So, after the 1st dose of Zantac, he was already feeling better. Thank goodness! Now on day 2 of Zantac and Thick-it, Hayden is a completely different baby! It's amazing how content he is to just sit and be held. Before this, he was never awake and quiet at the same time! No amount of walking and cuddling could calm him. Now we know why, the poor baby was in pain! = (
Anyway, quite a few of you have asked why I don't have any pictures of him with his eyes open. Well, it's because if they were open he was crying and we were trying to console him. So, here is one of the first pictures of Hayden with his eyes open.

I'm so glad you guys are finding peace! With the swing and the Zantac, you no longer need medication yourself. It was so nice meeting you on Monday, and Hayden is adorable.
Aw - poor lil guy. As parents you feel so helpless when your baby is telling you how he feels, but can't tell you where it hurts. I'm so glad lil' Hayden is feeling better, and now you guys can get back your sanity.
