Georgia Day 7: Visiting MY Nana and Grandpa

Day 5 was spent cleaning up Mom's house because Hayden is a hurricane . . . then Mom and I drove to the airport and picked up Jonathan and Kristen. The four of us went to Mary Mac's Tea Room for dinner (super yummy) and then back home to Jim, Jamie and Hayden.

Day 6 was spent shopping at the outlets and Kristen made a fabulous dinner of stuffed shells . . . I still need to get that recipe.
Day 7 Jonathan, Kristen, Hayden and I woke up early to drive to Duluth for Hayden's 2 year pictures. Hayden has always done well at his photo shoots. He takes a few minutes to warm up but once he does he performs fairly well. This time was so different! Hayden did not want his picture taken . . . PERIOD! He did not pitch a fit or fuss and cry. He just was not going to stand in front of the camera. We tried for over an hour and finally gave up. So, we'll have to reschedule his 2 year photos.
Next, we went to lunch and drove over to the hospital to see our great Aunt Carolene. She is having some spells . . . which I think she's allowed to have since she's nearing 90.
Then we went to my dad's parents, MY Nana and Grandpa's house. Hayden slept for the first half of the visit but then he woke up and was a live wire.
He went with Grandpa Charlie outside to look at the flowers. He wanted Grandpa to carry him until he saw me with the camera. Then he wanted down so he could steal the camera☺
Right after his little nap, he sat with Nana for about 10 minutes . . . then he saw the camera and could not get down fast enough ☺
Here he is with Aunt Kristen. I actually caught a smile from him! I always seem to snap the picture right after the smile . . . I need an SLR camera for the action shots.
Here's a shot of some beautiful forsythia (don't know if that's spelled right) in my grandparent's backyard. I want to remember this plant because I want to plant some at our new house ☻
Just a few more days of GA pictures and we'll get back to everyday life . . . stick with me!
