Christmas 2009

It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone and now we are staring 2010 in the face! Before we leave Christmas in the dust, here are a few pictures from the last 2 weeks.

Well, this one is actually from just after Thanksgiving when Nana and Pepa took HG to have Breakfast with Santa.

Last week. we went to a little party at Mimi and Pops that Mimi and Shannon threw for the parents of the children they keep.
Here's Hayden sitting in "his spot" to eat dinner
Santa came to visit at the party and Hayden loves Santa! He waited in line, sat in his lap, told him he wanted a slide, got his candy cane, got down . . . and went to the back of the line to repeat the whole process. Hayden sat in his lap 3 times before Santa became suspicious.
Santa also brought presents for each child. Here's Hayden waiting for his present . . .

Then he got tired of waiting and started to dig in to the closest gift.

We had a great time getting to know the other parents. Hayden loves Mimi and Shan Shan and we are so glad we've found such reliable and loving child care.

Here is a shot of Hayden and Giff at Nana and Pepa's Christmas tree. We did not put up our big tree this year since we've been so busy with school and moving, so Hayden loved seeing the big decorations at other people's houses.
Fast foward to Christmas Eve . . . we went to Nana and Pepa's and had Taco Soup and opened presents. Here is Hayden with Uncle Billy

Christmas morning Hayden came out in his Mickey Mouse Christmas pajamas and was so excited to see his new toys. We don't wrap, we display so, he tore into everything all at once. His main gift was a train table that has a flat cover that allows him to color and play at a tot sized table. He loves trains, books, coloring, Elmo, Mickey Mouse and Wubbzy. In addition to the train set, he got a grocery cart, blocks, a bunch of books, crayons and coloring books . . . he loves books!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and is looking forward to a great New Year!!

Love,

G, J & H
