Nana and Pepa Christmas

This past weekend Nana and Pepa came to visit us from Florida . . . they arrived Friday with many guests . . . we've discussed in the past, the singing Santa that is now quadraplegic . . . well, Pepa brought an entire band . . . oh yes, we now have a singing Florida Gator Snowman, a saxophone playing reindeer, a Singing and sledding Santa, and a laughing dinosaur. These 4 added to Santa make for quite an obnoxious noise. Thanks a lot Nana, Pepa, Mitch, Toogie and Tami! Hayden can't walk by the ledge without giving himself whiplash looking at them and then whines if you don't play them for him = )

Saturday, Nana, Pepa, Daddy and Hayden went to the mall while Mommy got her hair done . . . why do all these people wait until the Saturday before Christmas to go shopping? and why were we among them? = ) Traffic was not too bad but there were a lot of people at the Mall of Georgia . . . bad for our nerves but good for the economy!

Sunday, Nana and Pepa stayed at the house while G, J & H went to Jenn, J, Jack and Wyatt's house for Bear's birthday . . . The big 5-5! Double Nickel!

Sunday evening we had a nice steak dinner (thanks Nana) and had our Christmas with Nana and Pepa since we're staying in Georgia for Christmas. Hayden got a wonderful airplane ride along toy that he has had his eye on since Thanksgiving . . . you can see him riding one that belongs to his cousin on the Thanksgiving post = ) And here are some pictures of him riding his new one . . .

Monday and Tuesday we've been back to the grind but Wednesday, we're going to see Santa!! It's a little late for Hayden to be telling him what he wants for Christmas but, Santa is magical, right? Doesn't he already know what Hayden wants? And if there is anything new thrown on the list, won't his elves be able to make it before Christmas morning?

Then we're going to run to Mommy's work and Daddy's work so everyone can ooh and ahh over Hayden = ) He eats it up too . . . he works that smile and pours on the charm (most of the time).
