We stayed with Bill and Patti, some friends of ours through State Farm . . . they've recently retired and moved to Jacksonville. We were able to catch up with them and also with the Coakes family who are also friends thru the Farm. We typically all go to the Vanderbilt game together but none of us are able to go this year so we joined up for the GA game.

On the way home Sunday we stopped in McDonough and saw Nana Cici and Papa . . . they can't believe how big Mr. HG is getting!
Then Monday it was back to the grind . . . Tuesday we voted; no long lines!
Friday is my work from home day and I had a friend join me . . . Hayden! He started getting congested on Wednesday so I took him to the doctor bright and early Friday morning and he has his first ear infection! I guess I'm glad to get it behind us = ) He has not been acting sick and I would not have taken him if his babysitter had not reminded us that it was coming up on the weekend and you know it would have gotten worse over the weekend if we did not take him . . . so anyway, Hayden better watch the bubble gum medicine because Mommy LOVES it! = ) I might have to take a swig for old time's sake.
Giff thinks this picture is hilarious . . . I'm not too sure why . . . but no, he is not sitting on the ledge by himself . . . Giff is behind him hiding and waiting to catch him if he starts to fall.
Hayden will be 9 months old tomorrow . . . 9 months ago tonight I was sleeping in an uncomfortable Labor and Delivery bed =- ) I'm glad to be sleeping in my own bed tonight!
We were going to have Hayden's pictures taken tomorrow but we rescheduled for next weekend b/c of his ear and we were going to a birthday party on Sunday but, again, cancelled so Hayden can be 100% by Monday. . . so looks like we have a nice relaxing weekend ahead of us . . . (I hope) = )
