New Car Seats

Hayden has his new car seats! Some have asked which ones we went with because I quizzed everyone on their convertible car seat preferences . . . so after much research I went with a Britax Marathon for my car and a Fisher Price Safe Voyage for Giff's car.

I got the Britax online for $200! Which is great for a Britax. It's "last years" cover but this years model (manufactured in August of 2008) so it was on sale. And the Fisher Price Safe Voyage is manufactured by Britax but is marketed by FP at a lower price. So, it is a Britax Marathon with a Fisher Price box for $100 less = ) I would have gotten 2 of the FP's but they only had 1 left in stock . . . they have discontinued them because Britax was losing sales (read: money) because so many people were buying the FP over the Britax.

Anyway, Hayden seems to like them and he doesn't look as squished as he did in his infant seat. But I'm sad that he's moved out of his infant carrier . . . he's not an infant anymore = ( . . . Yes, I know he still is but he's just getting so big so fast!
