We went for Hayden's 4 month check up today. He's doing great . . . 17.12 lbs and 26 1/4 inches long. We're going to start him on some stage 1 foods and try to get him eating less formula. As many of you know he's had extreme acid reflux and takes Prilosec. Well today at the doctor's office, Hayden "spit-up". Which to us is normal but most people they think he's throwing up his entire lunch. Anyway, Dr. Hilton wants to try him on a different formula to rule out a milk allergy since Hayden is spitting up so much food. He's not having a problem with weight gain so it can't be too bad but, we'll try the new stuff and see what happens.
Other than that he's doing great. He got 3 shots and did not even cry! Oh, he thought he heard a slight heart murmur but, nothing big . . . just something to keep an ear on.
Hayden is getting so interactive. Dr. Hilton was listening to his chest and was staring at the wall trying to concentrate and Hayden was all smiling and making eyes at him and since Dr. H was not paying him any attention, Hayden knocked the stethoscope off his chest and smiled real big. So when Dr. H smiled back at him and spoke, Hayden just laughed = ) He has to be acknowledged = )
I have 5 1/2 weeks left before I go back to work and I'm just trying to enjoy every minute of it. I don't know what I'm going to do without him talking to me all day = (
Well, it's 12:30 am so I'm going to sign off and go wake Giff up off the den floor and take him to bed. He fell asleep there about 3 hours ago watching the Braves. I've woken him up about 5 times and he says he's going to bed but hasn't made it there just yet = )

Yep, Christian swears the den floor with the tv on is his favorite place to sleep. ha!
Glad Hayden is doing well. You will definitely miss his smiley little face but it does make your evenings after work much more special
Glad to hear that he's growing so well. And hopefully the milk change will help too. Enjoy those last few weeks before returning to work. You are so blessed that you had such a long maternity leave!!!
